Sunday the 8th of March Jazzpodium Waterweg presented a very special concert with renowned American vocalist Bernard Fowler. Fowler’s talents as a singer, songwriter, producer and instrumentalist have resonated throughout the span of his extraordinary career. He has performed, toured and recorded with hundreds of acts such as The Rolling Stones, John Mayer, Rod Stewart, Michael Buble, Duran Duran, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Michael Hutchence, Yoko Ono, Alice Cooper, Bootsy Collins and countless others.
Although he is most widely known for his 28 years (and counting) with the Rolling Stones, Fowler is one of the world’s most versatile and mesmerizing singers, able to sing across all musical genres as reflected with his incredible performances and recordings with Herbie Hancock, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Philip Glass, and Tim Ries’ Rolling Stones Project. At Jazzpodium Waterweg Fowler will perform many of the classic jazz songs he recorded and performed with Charlie Watts, as well as a few Rolling Stones hits reworked to a jazz tempo.
It was a sold out concert.
